Tag and Search for Any Moment Onscreen, Screen Anytime Released Version 1.5

(PRWEB) April 2, 2008 -- Stepok Image Lab. recently released the latest version 1.5 of its computer screen log program - Screen Anytime. The new features of the latest version include output of clips to Exe or Avi format and support for Tag of Special Moment.

Screen Anytime can be treated as the security camera for the computer operations. It records and replays any visible operations taking place on the computer and organize them on user and timeline. Therefore, Screen Anytime is important in applications such as security protection, behavioral review audit and debug. Just like the ordinary security system, video records can be easily backed up, viewed and even retrieved at a later date.

The 'tags for special moments' feature in the latest version further enhances the Screen Anytime's management of records. When the user wants to find and playback the log of the current operation at a later date he/she can press Ctrl+Alt+F12 to call up a dialog and add a time tag in the back-end recording program; the time tag includes a type of event such as general, system maintenance, important meeting, bug and unrepeatable Information, etc. and a description. On the management interface of Screen Anytime, the tags for each month will be listed in order of time. Double click the tag, it will redirect to the moment of the tag and replay it. However, in the previous version, the same thing required users to remember the approximate time of that moment or search for the keywords in the window title of the program running at that time. Now with the support for tags, it becomes a much easier job.

The previous version is very weak in outputting the video clips and was only able to output the entire file where the desired clip is located; and it could only support the self-play exe format. Now the latest version supports the output of random clips with avi format, which have better compatibility compared with exe files but much bigger file sizes.

The upgraded Screen Anytime still consists of a server edition and a workstation edition and supports the recording of windows session by either ordinary login or RDP.
